We pay a tribute to director Andrei Tarkovski with a mix of musical pieces taken from the soundtracks of his movies, as well as from several albums dedicated to the great Russian filmmaker.
Due to the disappearance of the original recording, I will publish here the post made for Cinemusique (my other editorial project), almost identical to the "Journeys To the Infinite" edition, but without my introduction. This show is a musical gateway to the poetic imagination illustrated in Tarkovsky's cinematic masterpieces Solaris, Stalker, The Mirror and Sacrifice.
