Born in Haarlem in 1979, Remy Stroomer began playing music as a child, later studied Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, and released his milestone debut album, Exhibition of Dreams, in 1999. Since then, he has built a catalogue that spans more than twenty-five years, established his own label, Deserted Island Music, and developed a musical identity that reaches beyond the traditional boundaries of the Berlin School while remaining rooted in melodic, long-form electronic music.
