(AUDIO INTERVIEW + MUSIC MIX)

Few artists have contributed to electronic music from as many different perspectives as Ron Boots: synthesist, label owner, festival organizer, and radio host. In this episode of Journeys to the Infinite, Ron reflects on the defining moments of his career, from discovering Pink Floyd, Bo Hansson, Mike Oldfield, and Tangerine Dream as a teenager to recording his first albums, founding the Groove Unlimited label, and helping transform a small fan initiative into one of Europe's longest-running electronic music festivals. We also discuss the evolution of the Dutch scene, his commitment to artistic independence inspired by Edgar Froese, and the collaborations and solo albums currently taking shape in his studio.
