Sverre Knut Johansen is one of the finest electronic music composers from Norway. He was born in Mo i Rana, a town situated just south of the Arctic Circle, and holds a master's degree in music technology from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His skills as sound designer and producer are apparent in the craftsmanship he displays. Johansen's use of pensive textures placed in epic settings of space grandeur is an ear & mind-catching combination. His albums convey a reverent feeling of awe and wonder for the mysteries of our world and beyond while exploring themes related to ancient civilizations, extraterrestrial intelligence, science, and spirituality.
In this edition of `Journeys to the Infinite' show, I am pleased to present a short audio interview with Sverre Knut Johansen about his musical vision and album releases, including his latest work `Precambrian` (featuring Robert Rich).
